Xmas day was spent on the beach. Oliver is practicing his James Bond emergence from the sea look. Boxing Day we went to the races and we have driven round the whole Island. The East and West are totally different. St James Parish is where all the most expensive hotels are and the best beaches for swimming is West, but I liked Bathsheba on the East coast, which is the latest surf town, really full of character, rugged coastline and Atlantic breezes.
Life here can only be described as relaxing and rejuvenating. We wake up late, go to the beach, jet ski, swim with turtles, snorkel... in the evenings so far we have gone to a few local bars. No problem with Oli being able to go anywhere with us.
Worst thing that's happened so far is my bank cards aren't working. Don't know what's wrong yet, but First Direct are being really unhelpful... there must be a reason why bankers rhymes with...
